Privacy policy

The short version

TickWave listens to your instrument so it can show you a pitch. That audio is analysed on your device, in real time, and then discarded. It is never recorded, stored or uploaded.

The core tuner and metronome work fully offline. If your device has no connection, TickWave still works.

Microphone

TickWave asks for microphone permission the first time you open the tuner. The permission is used for one purpose: converting incoming sound into a frequency reading on screen.

• Audio is processed in memory and discarded frame by frame.
• No recordings are written to disk by TickWave.
• No audio leaves your device.
• You can revoke the permission at any time in your device settings; the metronome continues to work without it.

Settings and preferences

Your instrument choice, click kit, tempo, A4 reference and toggles such as haptics and silent mode are stored locally on your device so the app opens the way you left it. Removing the app removes them.

The website

tempitune.com is a static marketing site. It sets no advertising cookies and builds no advertising profiles. Our hosting provider processes standard request information, such as IP address and user agent, to serve pages and protect against abuse.

If you write to tempituneofficial@gmail.com we keep the message so we can answer you and refer back to it if you write again. We do not add you to a mailing list.

TickWave is a practice tool suitable for students of any age. It does not collect personal details, so it does not knowingly collect information from children.

Your requests

Because we do not hold accounts, most data lives only on your device and is under your control. For anything else — a copy of your correspondence, or deletion of it — write to tempituneofficial@gmail.com. We reply within two to three business days.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page and describe the change in the journal.
